Steam Extraction fitted at Finedale Foods

Finedale Foods contacted PECO Install Ltd as they were having an issue with steam & condensation in the production area. We designed and installed a stainless steal ductwork system that would extract the steam out of the production area through the roof space and discharge into atmosphere. We also supplied them with the fresh air make up system that would heat the incoming air to room temperature before it entered the production area and this is controlled by in duct sensors. All the ductwork was insulated throughout the unheated roof space to stop condensation and heat loss.

This system will control the steam and also the room temperature making it better for production, operatives and will also stop any future problems with the building due to moisture.

The project was manufactured and installed over an 8-day period.
